Garner Hotel Preston Samlesbury, an IHG Hotel

The location was great for us to get to the venue we was going to We had a problem with the heating in the bedroom but Aniket Manager on reception was very good and moved us and sorted out the heating The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast in the morning had everything you needed and if not you just had to ask for it and the staff in the restaurant was great too. The staff could not do enough for us and always pleasant and smiling Would go back again.

The staff are very warm and welcoming, and the hotel room was spotlessly clean.The beds are huge and very comfortable, but breakfast felt a bit disorganised .The lady who was seating us was amazing , she was taking the orders for poached and fried eggs as well as showing us where everything was, but there clearly wasn't enough hot food prepared and she was running back and forth telling the kitchen what needed to be filled. A few people were waiting for breakfast to be cooked This wouldn't put me off staying here again, but I do feel the kitchen should be checking what needs to be filled before it completely runs out . The food that was available was very high quality, especially the sausage.

The location was good, very convenient and good for the price. It was right next to a golf course so had nice views from the room window. Breakfast was amazing and good value.

The room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable, shower was powerful and I appreciated the White Company shower gel, soap, etc., there was a hairdryer, bath robes, ironing board and iron, the bed was comfortable, the pillows less so, felt like pieces of foam, but, didn’t stop us sleeping well. Air conditioning was also a bonus. All of the staff that we met were incredibly friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure our stay was the best it could be, The staff of this Hotel are outstanding.

The breakfast was good but not exceptional. There were various choices of cereals and different milks. Lots of different teas available and cooked breakfast choices. Scrambled egg not very appetising but mushrooms nice. Also toast, croissants,yoghurt etc Buffet style Staff were all really helpful and friendly, really good atmosphere. Great showers Good location to get to All very clean and in good condition Reception well-manned.
